Kellan Lutz: 'I would love an invite to Robert Pattinson's wedding'

Actor Kellan Lutz would love to attend Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson's wedding.

Although the men were castmates in the hit vampire movie series and they try to catch up when they can, Kellan admits touching base can be difficult.

"The thing with Rob, Kristen (Stewart) and even Nikki (Reed), they like doing stuff private," he told Entertainment Tonight. "Do Rob and I talk everyday on the phone? No. I love the guy to death and we always hang out when he's in town or I'm in town."

The British actor became engaged to singer FKA twigs in April last year (15) and while there is no news on when the nuptials will take place, Kellan would love to be there.

"I'm sure he's going to be super selective (about the guest list)," he added. "I might text him after this and say, 'Hey, if you're ever thinking about tying the knot, you better make sure I'm there.'"

The cast formed a close bond during filming, but since the final installment, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, was released in 2012, they have all gone their separate ways.

"A lot of time has passed and people got married or have kids," he explained. "They have different lives now. We still see each other, Hollywood's a small town. I keep in touch with about half of them."

Still, Kellan has fond memories of their time together on set, and compares it to life in high school.

"For the most part, Twilight was a gathering of every cool kid of every group of high school," he said. "So, the musician, the artist, the jock, the cheerleader... For the most part, I got along with everyone. Some of them, they wouldn't be friends in real life."
