Ke$ha: 'Letter to Lady Gaga is fake'

Pop star Ke$Ha has spoken out to dismiss rumours she has chastised Lady Gaga for her views on fur in a strongly-worded letter, calling the document "a fake".

A note, purportedly from the TiK ToK hitmaker, surfaced on the Internet on Thursday (16Aug12) criticising Gaga for her recent comments about fur coats after she was accused of wearing animal pelts by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Gaga said, "You see a carcass, I see a museum piece de resistance... I respect your views, please respect mine."

The letter lambasted Gaga for her opinions, insisting she should be "a bit more sympathetic" to animal rights causes, but Ke$ha has now spoken out to insist she had nothing to do with it.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Animals (fans) + Lady Gaga - jus (just) woke up in Japan + heard that there's a letter from 'me' floating around. Well it's a fake. Not from me. Love u (sic) all."
