Ke$ha appointed global ambassador for animals

Ke$Ha has been named the first global ambassador for the Humane Society International.

The TiK ToK hitmaker, a passionate animal rights campaigner, will promote protection and compassion for creatures around the world as part of her new role.

And her first order of business is to urge fans to sign a petition to stop product testing on animals.

A statement from the singer reads, "I take this opportunity incredibly seriously because we are ALL animals. One of the main underlying sentiments of my music is to respect all living creatures just as they are."
