Justin Bieber vows to focus on music after egging conviction
Troubled pop star Justin Bieber has vowed to focus on his music after he was convicted of vandalism for egging a neighbour's house.
The Baby hitmaker pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour vandalism charge on Wednesday (09Jul14), stemming from the egging incident in January (14), and he was sentenced to five days of community service and 12 weeks of anger management counselling.
Bieber has now spoken out through his legal team to insist he is
determined to put the furore behind him.
A statement released by his lawyers reads, "Justin is glad to get
this matter resolved and behind him. He will continue to move
forward focusing on his career and his music."
The star was also ordered to hand over $80,900 in restitution and
stay away from the victim.
Bieber has since moved out of the gated community in Calabasas,
California after a series of problems with his neighbours, and he
is now living in a rented apartment in Beverly Hills.
