Justin Bieber: 'There's no collaboration with Drake's dad'
Pop star Justin Bieber has dismissed rumors suggesting he has recorded a secret song with Drake's musician father.
Dennis Graham, who previously enjoyed success as a drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis back in the 1960s, teased fans in December (15) by sharing a photo of himself and Justin on Instagram.
"We have a surprise coming soon stay tuned (sic)", he captioned the
snap, alongside a number of emojis, including multiple music note
signs, appearing to hint the pair was working on a song
together.
Justin did not comment on the claims at the time, but in a new
radio interview on The Bert Show, he cleared up the reports once
and for all.
"We're not doing a collaboration," the 21-year-old explained. "But
he's a super nice guy. I actually met him at the Nice Guy
restaurant in L.A. (Los Angeles)".
Drake's dad unveiled plans to make a solo comeback last year (15),
when he used Instagram to appeal for a "classy female rapper" to
collaborate with.
Dennis has become a familiar face to Drake's fans after joining his
rapper son on tour and appearing in his music video for Worst
Behavior. Father and son also teamed up for the 2014 song Heat of
the Moment.
