Justin Bieber paternity suit dropped

The woman who accused teenage singer Justin Bieber of fathering her baby has dropped her paternity lawsuit.

Single mother Mariah Yeater quietly withdrew her request for a paternity test and child support last week (ends13Nov11).

The 20 year old hit headlines earlier this month (Nov11) after claiming the pop star impregnated her in a backstage romp following a Los Angeles concert last year (10).

Yeater told reporters she had evidence proving Bieber was the father of her four-month-old son Tristyn, but the singer vehemently denied her allegations.

The Baby hitmaker agreed to submit to a DNA test to disprove her story while his lawyers threatened to take legal action against Yeater to "defend and protect" the singer.
