Jordana Brewster: 'My three-year-old has an awful potty mouth'
Actress Jordana Brewster is concerned about her little boy's excessive use of curse words.
The Fast and the Furious star shares sons Julian, three, and Rowan, three months, with her producer husband Andrew Form, and as her eldest enters preschool, she is terrified he might use bad language while communicating with his peers and teachers.
“Julian drops the F bomb a lot,” she explained during an appearance
on U.S. TV show Late Night with Seth Meyers. “I’m a New Yorker, so
I have a potty mouth and my husband’s constantly telling me,
‘Jordana, you have to clean it up'.
"I’m so petrified what’s going to come out of his mouth, what he’s
going to say... My dad says, 'What the f**k?’ a lot. And Julian
started saying that a lot."
But, despite his inappropriate use of foul language, Jordana is
actually impressed with how her three-year-old is phrasing his
sentences at such an early age.
“I do have to give my son credit because he does use it in context
- and in the correct context,” she clarifies.
Jordana is convinced little Julian is a man trapped in a kid's body
- as well as his use of curse words, the lad also has a huge crush
on DC Comics superhero character Wonder Woman.
"He’s obsessed with Wonder Woman - like, in love with her," she
smiles. "He’s very adult. I hired Wonder Woman, Spiderman and
Batman to come to his birthday party... (and) he was very shy
around her; he was like a little gentleman. And then later he
regretted that he didn’t hug her. So he wants a redo.”
Meanwhile, Julian is becoming the perfect older brother for his
baby brother.
“He’s been really good,” Jordana explained. "He’s been very, very
sweet. He asks for his baby."
