Jonah Hill pinched J.J. Abrams' nipples when they first met
Actor Jonah Hill was left red-faced after meeting director J.J. Abrams at an Adele show last year (15) and touching him inappropriately.
The Wolf of Wall Street star took his younger sister to see Adele on sketch show Saturday Night Live in November, and Jonah confesses was so moved by the soul singer's performance, he became overly excited when he was introduced to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens filmmaker by mutual pal Bradley Cooper - and ended up grabbing his nipples.
"Bradley and him had worked together and are genuine friends, and
I'm just so into Adele singing Hello and I'm so moved and I don't
know what the hell I was thinking, I give J.J. Abrams a giant t**ty
twister!" he exclaimed to talk show host Jimmy Fallon. "I'm a
stupid person and I don't understand. He's also with his kids by
the way. I twisted this man's nipples in front of his children...
and he looks at me like I'm literally the most disgusting person
he's ever seen in his life...!"
After the awkward gesture, Jonah tried to cover up his
embarrassment, but the incident left him kicking himself for the
rest of the night and the 32-year-old knew he had to apologize.
He added, "So I'm just like, 'What the hell is wrong with me?' So I
just go, 'Well, good to see you,' and it's over and Bradley's like,
'What the f**k was that about, why did you do that?' So I spent the
whole rest of the night beating myself up because this was an
absurd thing to do.
"I get home and I tell my friends and they're like, 'You should
write him an apology letter.' So I get his email (address) and I
say, 'Hey, J.J. Abrams this is Jonah Hill, we met briefly last
night... I have such reverence for your work and sometimes you
think you know someone and really you're just a big fan and
sometimes when I get excited and I see a good friend of mine I
rotate their nipple...'"
Luckily, J.J. was happy to brush off the odd encounter.
Jonah continued, "J.J.'s so cool, he wrote me back immediately and
said, 'This is funny, don't sweat it. Don't beat yourself up.' He
was so kind, so thank you J.J. for being such a nice guy... He
said, 'Now we have this funny story to share'."
