Joe Jonas' band to join Selena Gomez on tour

Selena Gomez has recruited fellow Disney alum Joe Jonas and his new band Dnce as the support act on her upcoming North American tour.

The Come and Get It singer is hitting the road for her Revival Tour and on Tuesday (23Feb16), she revealed the pop/rock band will serve as her opening act in a series of creative videos on mobile app Snapchat.

In the clips, Gomez invites her followers on a tour of her "new apartment", but along the way, she finds mysterious items such as drumsticks in the fridge and an alien pillow in front of her door.

When she finally reaches the bedroom, she finds DNCE seemingly hosting a surprise party, and band member JinJoo exclaims they're joining Gomez on her tour.

The group then holds a dance party to Gomez's song Hands to Myself, followed by DNCE's hit Cake by the Ocean.

Gomez's 41-city Revival tour kicks off on 6 May (16) in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Jonas' ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato is heading out on a summer trek with his brother and Gomez's former boyfriend Nick Jonas on the Future Now Tour.
