Jessie J: 'Instagram tweet was not aimed at Rihanna'
Jessie J has dismissed reports suggesting a recent Twitter.com post about stars posting naked pictures of themselves online was targeted at pop peer Rihanna.
The Price Tag hitmaker took to the microblogging site earlier this week (begs07Jan13) and appeared to mock the R&B singer's penchant for uploading candid photos of herself naked and smoking pot on Instagram.
She wrote, "I'm bored... Maybe I should get naked and smoke and
take pictures of myself and post them on instagram? Or NOT...
*rolls eyes*".
The British star had to assure Rihanna fans who had been upset by
the tweet that the note wasn't aimed at the Umbrella singer.
She explained, "My last tweet about instagram sadly wasn't an
indirect (sic) at anyone in particular. There is definitely more
than 1 person posting those kind of pictures. Hence my tweet."
But she admitted the tweet was a message to stars like Rihanna,
adding, "I will openly say the amount of pictures including men and
woman nude and girls and guys promoting smoking drugs on the
internet these days is a lot. Feels like the boundaries are
disappearing. It's become fashionable and in my opinion it's too
much. Call me what you want but that's MY opinion and I'm entitled
to one."
Last week (ends04Jan13), Rihanna, who often disrobes for candid
Twitter and Instagram shots, took aim at followers who lashed out
at her for appearing to promote marijuana by posting a shot of the
drug online and writing, "This nug (nugget) look like a skull or am
I just (hallucinating)....?"
She was attacked for setting a bad example for young fans but
defiant Rihanna fired back with a tweet that read, "I DON'T REALLY
GIVE A F**K."
