Jessica Alba considering acting retirement to focus on business

Jessica Alba is considering winding down her acting career so she can focus on building her eco-friendly baby and household product firm, The Honest Company.

The Sin City beauty has already tasted huge success with the business since its launch in 2011, with the brand boasting an anticipated market value of $1 billion last year (14).

The busy mother-of-two recently revealed plans to expand into beauty and feminine care items, and she admits working on the chemical-free line has become her main passion.

She tells Hello! Fashion Monthly magazine, "It’s tempting to leave acting completely and focus on my company. It’s definitely more fulfilling. And when I put my time into it, I feel like I’m doing something that’s productive and there’s a real outcome.

"With entertainment, I feel like you’re just throwing stuff against the wall and you don’t know if anyone’s going to see it."
