Jennifer Lopez celebrates Casper Smart's birthday on Mexican road trip

Jennifer Lopez has continued to keep fans guessing over the status of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Casper Smart by joining him for a road trip to Mexico to celebrate his 28th birthday.

The On The Floor hitmaker took her twins Emme and Max with her for the Easter weekend (04-05Apr15) getaway to a small resort town near Ensenada, where Smart was spotted hitting the waves on a jetski, while Lopez took her children horseriding.

Lopez and Smart were then photographed sightseeing on Monday (06Apr15), the dancer's actual birthday, before heading back to Los Angeles.

The former couple also hit the Santa Monica boardwalk for a bike ride on Tuesday (07Apr15), when Smart shared a brief video clip of the pair's sporty outing.

In the accompanying caption, he wrote, "Look who I found on the beach..!!?? @jlo".

Lopez sparked speculation she had reconciled with Smart last month (Mar15) after the couple was snapped sharing a kiss following her appearance on American Idol.

She played down the reunion rumors when she was quizzed about the romance last week (01Apr15), stating, "I'm single right now."

Lopez and Smart split last summer (14) after more than two years together.
