Jennifer Lawrence recalls beer-filled bar fight in Budapest
Jennifer Lawrence recently started a bar fight by pouring beer over a man who grew angry when she refused to take a selfie with him.
The 27-year-old actress shot her upcoming film Red Sparrow in Budapest, Hungary, where she enjoyed the local night life during production.
One night in particular stands out to Jennifer though, as it was her first-ever "real" bar fight, which kicked off after she turned down a guy's request for a picture with her while she was drunk.
"Then he was like, 'Please! My girlfriend will never believe (me),' and my friend was like, 'If your girlfriend won't believe you then she's not the one!'" the star recalled on Thursday night's (14Sep17) episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers. "And so we were like, 'Just go away.'"
The man swore at Jennifer, who immediately retaliated: "And then I just, I don't know, something in me just snapped, it couldn't have been the alcohol," she said. "I grabbed him and I took beers and I started dousing them all over him."
Continuing her revenge, Jennifer then began pouring alcohol over his suitcase. It wasn't until one of her pals calmed her down by reminding her what she was doing that The Hunger Games actress finally reined herself in.
"My friend Chris came up, grabbed me from behind, and he goes, 'Don't waste beer. Don't waste beer.' And I instantly relaxed. I was like, 'Of course, what was I thinking?'" she laughed.
Jennifer was able to recall her funny story in full detail, despite being "morbidly hungover" following the New York premiere of her latest film Mother! the night before.
