Janice Dickinson left concussed after banging her head on a bar

Model-turned-reality TV regular Janice Dickinson was treated for concussion in a Los Angeles hospital on Friday (12Jul13) after injuring her head during an encounter with a parking garage gate.

The star was visiting a drug store in Beverly Hills on Thursday (11Jul13) when she collided with a crossbar after parking her car outside.

Dickinson scraped her knee in the incident but carried on with her day, convinced she was fine.

Unable to sleep and in pain on Thursday night, she visited UCLA Medical Center, where doctors determined she had suffered a nasty concussion, according to TMZ.com.

Dickinson is now recovering at home and tells the website she feels "pretty horrible".
