Jamie Foxx's daughter named Miss Golden Globe

Jamie Foxx's actress/model daughter Corinne Foxx has been named Miss Golden Globe for next year's (16) prizegiving.

The 21 year old, who is a student at the University of Southern California, follows in the footsteps of fellow celebrity offspring including Kevin Bacon's daughter Sosie, Francesca Eastwood and Dakota Johnson who have all acted as ushers in previous years.

"Throughout the years I've grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor," Corinne says in a statement. "I'm honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he's been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments."

Corinne will take to the stage during the prizegiving, organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on 10 January (16).
