Jack White taking long break from live gigs
Rocker Jack White has announced he will step out of the spotlight and take a break from performing live concerts following a string of upcoming acoustic gigs.
The former The White Stripes star's representative made the announcement on Tuesday (14Apr15), just days after White performed at the Coachella festival in California.
The post reads: "After many years of performing in a multitude of
configurations, Jack White is announcing that he will be taking a
break from performing live for a long period of time."
But before he takes a hiatus from the stage, White will embark on a
short tour in the five states that he has never played in.
The concerts will not be announced until the morning of the
concert, and tickets will only cost $3 each. The gigs also mark
White's first full acoustic shows.
White will complete his Coachella commitments when he headlines the
music festival on Saturday (18Apr15).
