Iggy Azalea shuts down French Montana romance rumors

Iggy Azalea has shut down rumors of a romance with rapper French Montana and revealed the pair are working on new music.

Iggy and French set the rumor mill turning after he shared a picture of them enjoying a night out together in Las Vegas, Nevada on Snapchat last month (Jun16).

According to editors at E! News, the musicians shared drinks and partied before Iggy performed at the city's Jewel nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino.

However the Fancy star insists they were just letting their hair down after working on a new single.

"No, we're (just) collaborating," she tells E! News. "I've got another single coming out with French Montana, so we recorded it while I was in Las Vegas last week. It should be having a music video filmed to it in the next few weeks."

The news that the Australian hip hop star is working on new tracks may mean she gets to musically address her split from basketball star Nick Young, after announcing she had ended their engagement last month (Jun16) amid allegations of his infidelity.

She had previously indicated the break-up would not be a theme on her new album as she finished recording it in February (16), long before her relationship hit the rocks.

"My album has already been recorded," she told reporters. "It's been finished since February, so none of that in there."

Shortly after the couple announced their split, Young's ex-girlfriend Keonna Green, the mother of his son, Nick, Jr., confirmed she was pregnant with the Los Angeles Lakers player's second child.
