Iggy Azalea: 'I haven't broken up with Nick'

Iggy Azalea hasn't split from Nick Young.

The 25-year-old Australian rapper has been at the center of rumors of a rift with her fiance after the Los Angeles Lakers star was seen boasting about his womanizing ways in video footage leaked last month (Mar16).

But on Monday (18Apr16), Iggy took to her Twitter page to set the record straight about her relationship status.

"For the record, I haven't broken up with Nick," she wrote. "We are together and I would love to be given a little (a lot) of privacy on the matter."

Iggy continued to plead with people to stop asking her about the romance now that she has clarified the situation.

"I always answer questions honestly," she added. "But my job is to promote my music, not my relationship. I'd love to be interviewed about the former only."

Since the cheating scandal broke, Iggy has been seen without her engagement ring on occasion, prompting speculation that all was not well at home.

And in a recent interview with 103.7 KVIL's Leigh Ann and Courtney Kerr, Iggy revealed her beau has some explaining to do before the Australian star decides once and for all if she still wants to marry him.

"I guess I'm still engaged, I think so," she said. "I know I haven't called it off; I have to have a talk with him and see how the talk goes. We're not unengaged yet."

The Fancy hitmaker insisted her man doesn't deserve "for me to be wearing his ring right now", adding, "We're not not engaged, but you have to, like, do some work for me to put the ring back on (my finger)."

Iggy had previously said that she has been "figuring it all out" with her beau following the emergence of the video.
