Henry Cavill locked himself out of hotel room naked
Superman actor Henry Cavill was once locked out of his Los Angeles hotel room while naked.
The British actor made the embarrassing revelation on NBC chat show Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday night (22Mar16).
Henry, 33, is currently on a promotional tour with new Marvel
Comics movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
After travelling to Los Angeles to meet the movie's director Zack
Snyder and personal trainer Mark Twight to prepare for his role as
the Man of Steel, the star blamed jet-lag for the unfortunate
mishap.
"I had landed in L.A., dropped my bags off at the hotel, met my
agent for dinner and a drink and then went to bed," he told
programme host Seth. "I passed out a bit jet-lagged and I woke up
to the sound of my door closing in my hotel room. Of course, I then
realised that I was on the outside of my door - and I had no
clothes on." The actor blamed the room's confusing layout for the
accident. Urging him to continue, Seth joked that the actor's story
was a "dream" for a TV host.
"I had completely gotten up to go for a pee... I got out the
right-hand side of the bed and just went straight for the first
door I saw and woke up completely naked in the hallway. Being naked
in the hallway is a pretty big problem, but I needed to pee and I
was desperately thinking, 'Where am I going to pee?'"
Henry joked he eventually had to urinate off the hotel's roof to
solve his problem.
"I felt like a little boy again. Then it dawned on me that I hadn't
quite solved the problem because I was locked outside my hotel room
naked—and on the roof now," he said.
This isn't the film time the outspoken Man from U.N.C.L.E star has
revealed how getting naked has put him in an awkward position.
During the film of sex scenes for the historical BBC drama The
Tudors he admitted to magazine Men's Health that he got a little
over-excited. "I had to apologise profusely afterwards," he told
the magazine. "It's actually acutely uncomfortable being naked in a
roomful of people."
The new Superman v Batman movie, which also stars actor Ben Affleck
as Batman, is released in the U.S and U.K. this Friday
(25Mar16).
