Heidi Klum volunteers for food charity

Supermodel and TV personality Heidi Klum took time out of her busy schedule on Monday (23Jul12) to help cook food for sick New Yorkers.

The blonde beauty donned an apron and chef's cap as she assisted in the kitchen for the God's Love We Deliver organisation, which delivers meals to those too ill to prepare them.

Klum, who sliced up red peppers for a vegetable soup, is now calling on her fans to carry out volunteer work in their own areas.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "It's important to give back in your community. Spent my morning working in the godslovenyc kitchen!"
