Heidi Klum feted at CLIO Awards

Supermodel Heidi Klum was feted for her creative contribution to the fashion industry at the prestigious CLIO Awards on Tuesday night (05May15).

The German beauty was presented with the Honorary Image prize from her Project Runway co-star Tim Gunn at the New York City event, which celebrates the best in international advertising in areas such as package design, print, radio, and TV.

Accepting the award, Klum said, "It's amazing to be in this industry for 20 years, especially as a model or television personality. You never really think you can have that long of a lifespan, because normally a shelf life in this type of career can be very short. I feel very blessed."

Klum is only the second person to receive the special accolade, following last year's (14) honouree, actress and fashion designer Sarah Jessica Parker.
