Gwen Stefani: 'Blake Shelton romance has changed my style'
Singer Gwen Stefani's style has become "more feminine" since she started dating country star Blake Shelton.
The No Doubt frontwoman embarked on a romance with The Voice coach just a few weeks after she filed for divorce from husband Gavin Rossdale in August (15), following 12 years of marriage.
As well as helping to put a smile back on her face, the 46-year-old
credits Blake with inadvertently changing her clothing style.
"My life has changed dramatically in the last year," she told Haute
Living magazine. "I think that style definitely reflects your mood,
maybe it's a little more feminine right now."
Gwen has always had a unique eye for fashion, and has been able to
switch from edgy, sometimes masculine styles to flowing, ethereal
red carpet dresses.
The mother-of-three looked particularly sensational at the Vanity
Fair Academy Awards after party back in February (16), when she
made her red carpet debut with Blake, 39.
Gwen wore a red sheer Yanina Couture dress covered in satin floral
petals, which she paired with a crimson Jimmy Choo clutch, her
signature red lips, and blonde hair styled in retro waves.
Following her split from Gavin, 50, the singer admits she has
enjoyed trying new things on the red carpet.
"Definitely my life has gone somewhere else - that's for sure - so
maybe my style is reflecting that, which is great," she added.
"It's always fun to evolve, so I feel good about that."
One thing which doesn't fill Gwen with as much joy though, is going
make-up free, with the star recently revealing to Allure how she
feels incomplete with out any product on her face.
"I just truly am passionate about make-up, and I wear it every day,
no matter what," she said. "When I don't wear make-up, it just
doesn't feel right. People think I'm insane, but I feel like it's
part of who I am that day and who I want to be."
