Evan Rachel Wood: 'Ricki Lake helped me make home childbirth choice'

New mom Evan Rachel Wood has expressed gratitude to TV talk show host Ricki Lake for educating her about different types of childbirth.

The Wrestler star, who welcomed a son with husband Jamie Bell on Monday (29Jul13), credits Lake's documentary, The Business of Being Born, for giving her choices other than traditional childbirth.

In a post on Twitter.com on Tuesday (30Jul13) the Ides of March star wrote, "I have to say thank you Ricki Lake for your inspiring documentary 'the business of being born.' I never knew I had a choice when it came to labor. It taught me so much & aided my decision in having a natural home birth which my son & I are now forever grateful for."

Lake has since responded, writing, "You are so welcome. Overjoyed to hear you had a positive birth experience & a beautiful son!"
