Eric Church is a dad again

Country star Eric Church has become a dad for the second time.

The Springsteen hitmaker and his wife Katherine welcomed son Tennessee Hawkins on Sunday (15Feb15). He joins older brother Boone McCoy, who is three.

Church announced the happy news in a statement, which reads: "I'm thrilled that Hawk and his mom are doing well. We aren't sleeping very much, but we are enjoying every part of this incredible journey. I'm very blessed and thankful."

The newborn's arrival came a week after the Grammy Awards, and Church admits he was worried his wife might go into labor during the ceremony.

He said, "It's bad both ways. If she goes into labor at the Grammys, that will be an interesting night for all of us. I told her if we could just make it to the day after the Grammys we're good."

Church and his wife have been married since 2008.
