Drunk driver lands probation after Jennifer Lopez car accident

The driver who crashed into Jennifer Lopez's car last year (14) has been sentenced to three years of probation after pleading no contest to DUI (driving under the influence) charges.

The Booty hitmaker was waiting at a traffic light with her actress pal Leah Remini, who was behind the wheel, and their children when Robert John Reitz crashed his vehicle into the rear end of Lopez's car in September (14).

No one was injured, but the driver was later arrested after registering in a blood alcohol level of 0.17 per cent, nearly twice the legal limit. In December (14), he was charged with two counts of driving under the influence.

Reitz was back in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday (25Mar15) when he entered a plea of no contest and a judge sentenced him to three years probation and ordered him to complete an alcohol rehabilitation program.
