Insiders tell The Hollywood Reporter that Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will replace ousted judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul on the show.

TV bosses and representatives for series creator Simon Cowell have refused to confirm or deny the latest reports, but an announcement is expected in the coming weeks as auditions for the new season of the show begin at the end of the month (May12).
