Daniel Radcliffe shuns Harry Potter spin-off
Daniel Radcliffe has ruled out a return to the big screen as Harry Potter.
The star is adamant he will not take on the role in J.K. Rowling's new film, which has been inspired by the world renowned wizarding franchise.
The author is making her screenwriting debut with Fantastic Beasts
And Where To Find Them, a movie based on a Hogwarts textbook from
the Potter movies, but Radcliffe has confirmed he will not be
involved in the project.
He says, "I first thought, 'Thanks Jo, I'm going to have to answer
tons of questions about this now'. I'm sure they're going to have a
great time (making it). I'm sure most people are really excited
about it... Needless to say I wouldn't be involved in it and I
guess none of the others (from the Harry Potter films) will be, but
I know absolutely nothing about it."
Rowling has revealed her new venture is neither a prequel nor a
sequel to the Harry Potter series, but it will be an extension of
the wizarding world.
