Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard to star in Jurassic World

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have been confirmed as the leads for the upcoming fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise.

The Spider-Man 3 actress has long been attached to a leading role, and now her part has been confirmed thanks to her director father, Ron Howard.

The actor/filmmaker snapped a photo of his daughter and the Zero Dark Thirty star meeting for the first time at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (12Jan14) night, and posted the shot online with the caption: "Bryce and Chris meet for the 1st time on red carpet they will be co-stars in next Jurassic."

Colin Trevorrow is directing the long-awaited reboot that is set to hit theatres in June, 2015.
