Chris Hemsworth's daughter dreams of boyhood
Actor Chris Hemsworth's little girl is envious of her brothers.
The Australian hunk is father to three-year-old daughter India and two-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan with wife Elsa Pataky. He's spoken at length about how much he enjoys fatherhood, but during a chat with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres he revealed some moments are harder to handle than others when it comes to raising a family.
“My daughter is kind of envious of the boys at the moment,” he
explained. “She came to me the other day and she was like, ‘Ya
know, Papa, I want one of those things Sasha and Tristan have.’ I’m
like, ‘What do you mean?’ She was like, ‘Ya know, the things in
between the legs that you have.'
“I was like ‘Oh, um, well you see... Girls...’ and then my brain’s
like, 'how do we handle this?!'”
Chris, 32, then found himself explaining to India that "girls have
breasts", to which she responded by saying she didn't want them.
When he finally named the particular part of the male anatomy out
loud his daughter was quick to pick it up, though the Thor star
isn't thinking too much into the humorous scenario.
“I was like, 'She’s four. You know what, you can be whatever you
want to be,'” he smiled. “And she goes, ‘Thanks Dad!’ Runs off to
the playground and that was it. I’ll have to pick up that
conversation in a few years’ time.”
It seems Chris and Elsa are happy with their brood as it is, as the
Spanish beauty recently insisted that there won't be any more mini
Hemsworths joining the clan - first making the statement following
the twins' birth.
“We’re not thinking about having any more,” she told Britain’s
Hello! magazine. “I’m making a stand. Three children is enough;
it’s hard enough work. For me it is very important to spend all the
time I can with them when they’re at this age but now that I see
them growing up a bit, I also want to work and get back to what I
like."
