Carrie Underwood went undercover as sporting goods store employee

Carrie Underwood surprised fans by going undercover as a sporting goods store employee in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Blown Away star is also the designer for her clothing line Calia by Carrie, which focuses on active wear, and to help promote the collection, she pretended to be a Calia representative at a Dick's Sporting Goods store, by donning a dark wig and glasses.

In a video posted online, a disguised Underwood tells one shopper, "I'm the Calia rep from the head Dick's Sporting Goods store. I'm here for the day, just kind of checking things out," then helps another woman find a pink garment in the collection before showing another shopper to the dressing rooms.

Underwood says to another woman, "I know the designer," before the country star mischievously tells a suspicious shopper, "I used to be in the music business, and I gave it all up to come work at Dick's Sporting Goods."

The jig was soon up after one clever woman told the star, "Okay, I recognize you... are you Carrie Underwood?", and the singer ripped off the wig and glasses much to the shock of other customers.

She finished her shift by singing her hit Before He Cheats over the store's loudspeaker.
