Candice Swanepoel shares first picture of son Anaca

Candice Swanepoel has shared her first photo of newborn son Anaca on social media.

The new mother took to Instagram to post the first snap of her precious bundle of joy, who arrived on Friday (07Oct16).

She uploaded the black and white image of her smiling newborn on Instagram on Saturday (08Oct16), and simply captioned the shot, "Life is sweet."

The stunning supermodel and fiance Hermann Nicoli, who have been together for more than 10 years, named their son after a Brazilian word for a type of bird, E! News reports.

Photographer and friend Jerome Duran took to Instagram to share a photo of the 27-year-old's bare and pregnant body on Friday, congratulating the new mother. "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAMA Congratulations!! @angelcandices @hermannicoli Welcome Anacã!!! Already sooo (sic) much LOVE for you and the new family!" he wrote.

Throughout her pregnancy, Swanepoel shared a number of photos with fans and followers on social media, even revealing the sex of her baby online. "My not so little boy," she captioned one of her shots.

Swanepoel's bundle of joy comes weeks after best friend and fellow Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo welcomed her first child with her rocker husband Adam Levine.

Dusty Rose was born on 21 September (16) and the happy parents shared the first picture of their bundle of joy when she was just two days old.

Swanepoel and Nicoli have been dating for over 10 years. The South African model fell in love with the Brazilian hunk when she was just 17 after meeting in Paris, France.
