Brooklyn Beckham wants to 'disappear' from public eye
Brooklyn Beckham wants to take some time away from the limelight whilst he studies in New York.
The 18-year-old, who is the son of Victoria and David Beckham, will soon be swapping his native Britain for New York as he is moving to the city for four years to study photography.
However, he has confessed that he is "nervous" and "scared" about the big move away from his family.
"I'm kinda just gonna disappear and study for a few years and see what happens," he told TooFab magazine. "I'm nervous about moving away from my family, that's one thing that I'm really scared of, but I feel like it'll be good for me to live on my own for a bit and really knuckle down on what I really love and study."
Brooklyn has always had a keen interest in photography, and as well as releasing a book of snapshots titled What I See in June (17), he has also been interning with fashion photographer Nick Knight.
And the eldest of the four Beckham children claims to have received unwavering support from his parents over his career choice.
"They're so supportive. My mom and dad really helped me as well with this book so I couldn't have done it without them. Photography is (it), that's what I really want to do," he shared, going on to admit that having famous parents can have a downside too. "I feel like I get opportunities that most people my age don't get. But, like, I can't do what most 18-year-olds do... I can't go out partying all the time, I have to work and get up early."
