Breakfast At Tiffany's Broadway run to end early
Emilia Clarke's Broadway play Breakfast At Tiffany's is set to close just one month after opening due to poor ticket sales.
The Games of Thrones star took on the role of Holly Golightly, made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film, in a new stage production of Truman Capote's classic novella.
However, the play was panned by critics, with reviewers branding
the show "dull" and "disappointing", and producers have now
announced they will close Breakfast At Tiffany's after the matinee
performance on Sunday (21Apr13).
The production opened at the Cort Theater in New York City last
month (20Mar13).
It becomes the latest production to make a quick exit from Broadway
this season - Debra Winger's The Anarchist and Henry Winkler's The
Performers both closed early.
