Brandy's brother assures fans she's OK as he agrees to stand in for her at fan event

Brandy's brother Ray J is standing in for his sick sister by taking over her slot at a fan convention she was planning to attend this weekend (03Jun17).

The singer and reality TV star was caught by cameras at LAX on Friday (02Jun17), hours after paramedics had to carry his unconscious sister off a plane bound for New York at the same airport in Los Angeles, and as well as giving reporters an update on his sister's health, he revealed he'd be filling in for her at an event in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday.

Ray J explained he was at the airport trying to change his flight so he could spend a bit more time with his sister, who was resting at home following a brief hospital stay.

He told TMZ exhaustion was to blame for her health scare, stating, "She's good, she just needed rest. She's cool... She's been to Puerto Rico... and New York, Atlanta, L.A... Sometimes it's a lot."

Brandy's brother also thanked the Delta flight crew and paramedics who helped to bring his sister to after she passed out on the plane.

The Boy is Mine singer regained consciousness on her way to the hospital on Friday morning.
