Brandon Flowers: 'Picking up kids wrecked my shoulder'
Written by . Published: June 27 2013
Brandon Flowers blames his agonising shoulder injury on his obsession with picking up his kids for a cuddle.
The Killers frontman underwent surgery last year (12) for a curved acromion bone in his arm which was causing a painful pinched nerve in his left shoulder.
He has since discovered the injury was exacerbated by his habit of
frequently reaching down to scoop up his sons Ammon, five, Gunnar,
three, and two year old Henry.
Flowers tells Q magazine, "Last year... I had shoulder surgery. I
have a curved acromion bone. I'd been picking up my kids a lot and
it started to grind on my nerve so they had to saw off the curve to
straighten it out."
