Bobbi Kristina Brown's grandmother: 'There's not a great deal of hope'
Bobbi Kristina Brown is still showing little sign of recovery following her near-drowning in January (15), according to her grandmother.
Gospel star Cissy Houston broke her silence about the troubled youngster's condition in a radio interview in New York on Wednesday (26Mar15), revealing there's "still not a great deal of hope" for the family as they pray for the late Whitney Houston's daughter, who has been in a medically-induced coma since the beginning of February (15).
But the 81 year old told WBLS FM 107.5 that she and the rest of the
family couldn't be more grateful for the thoughts and prayers of
fans and well wishers.
She said, "I feel every bit of it, I truly do."
Bobbi Kristina was recently moved from Emory University Hospital in
Atlanta, Georgia after seven weeks at the medical center, and
Houston adds, "She's the same. We've moved her to a place for
rehabilitation... (We're) still praying.
"I cannot change a thing. I'm asking everybody, 'Just pray to the
Lord who we know can do something about it'. If he works a miracle,
thank God. If it happens the other way, I'm alright."
Brown was taken to hospital after her boyfriend Nick Gordon found
her unresponsive and face down in a bathtub in their Roswell,
Georgia home.
