Bobbi Kristina Brown estate executives trying to stop TV movie

Bobbi Kristina Brown's estate administrators have joined forces with Bobby Brown in a bid to shut down an upcoming TV biopic about the tragic 22-year-old's final days.

Her father has already filed suit to stop the project from airing, claiming his depiction as a bad dad and violent husband to late ex-wife Whitney Houston is defamatory - and now the Brown and Houston families are backing him.

The estate bosses claim the biopic violates Bobbi Kristina's right to privacy, and they are calling for over $2 million in damages and an injunction on the movie, which is set to air on TV1 in America next month (Oct17).

Sources previously told TMZ that Bobby is not unhappy with the way his late daughter is portrayed by actress Joy Rovaris, but he's far from pleased with the way he comes across in the film.

In court documents obtained by the outlet, Bobby claims the movie suggests he was physically abusive towards his late wife Whitney and unloving towards their daughter.

Hassan Johnson portrays Brown in the new film, while The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Demetria McKinney plays Houston.

Bobbi Kristina died in 2015, six months after she was placed in a medically-induced coma following a drowning incident at the home she shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon in Georgia.

A new trailer for the TV One biopic debuted at the end of August (17).
