Bethenny Frankel splits from husband

Bethenny Frankel has split from her husband after two years of marriage.

Former The Real Housewives of New York star married Jason Hoppy in March, 2010, and they later welcomed a baby girl, Bryn, now two.

The couple has been dogged by rumors of a rocky relationship in recent weeks, and have now called it quits, just days before Christmas.

A statement from the TV personality-turned-talk-show-host reads, "It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.

"We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us."

Frankel's new talk show, Bethenny, is scheduled to air next year (13).
