Becky G tapped to perform at Jenni Rivera tribute concert

Teen pop star Becky G is set to honor late singer Jenni Rivera at an upcoming tribute concert on what would have been the late Mexican star's 46th birthday.

The Shower singer will perform at Jenni Vive (Jenni Lives), which will be held in Rivera's native Long Beach, California.

Rivera's singer daughter, Chiquis Rivera, as well as regional Mexican acts Fidel Rueda and Banda Los Recoditos, are also slated to take the stage at Marina Green Park on 2 July (15).

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation, created by the late singer to help mothers and victims of domestic abuse.

Rivera lost her life in a 2012 plane crash, aged 43.
