Ashley Tisdale wins permanent restraining order
Ashley Tisdale has won a permanent restraining order against an overzealous fan after he violated a previous ruling by contacting the actress via Twitter.com.
The High School Musical star reported Nicholas Fiore to police earlier this year (13) after he bombarded her with over 18,000 messages on the social networking site and tweeted song lyrics that she interpreted as threats against her life and that of her boyfriend, Christopher French.
She was granted a temporary protection order against Nicholas Fiore
last month (May13), but he ignored the ban, which prevented him
from using the Internet, and he was arrested at his home on 31 May
(13).
Ashley Tisdale's case returned to a Los Angeles court on Wednesday
(05Jun13), when a judge extended the restraining order to three
years, according to TMZ.com.
Nicholas Fiore remains in police custody on a charge of felony
stalking.
