Armie Hammer nursing broken hand
Armie Hammer has been secretly nursing a broken hand after a drunken night out in Russia.
The Social Network actor and his wife Elizabeth Chambers recently visited Moscow to promote his new movie The Lone Ranger and they were welcomed with a traditional Russian meal.
Hammer's hosts made sure to keep the vodka flowing throughout the
special dinner and the star happily indulged - but the 26 year old
can't remember what happened afterwards.
He woke up the following morning to find himself covered in blood -
and had to grovel to his wife to fill him in on his drunken
actions.
Hammer explains, "All I know is I woke up the next morning in our
hotel room and the room was covered with blood. And I was just
like, 'What did I do?' I couldn't find my wife and I was like,
'Elizabeth, Elizabeth! What's going on?!' I find my wife in the
other room, just glaring at me and I go, 'What happened?' and she
goes, 'You don't know what happened? You should know what
happened'... I look down at my hand and it looked like someone had
cut a baseball in half and put it under my hand and it was just
dried blood all over.
"Turns out, I was having such a good time that I decided to run
down the hallways of our hotel screaming about how much fun Moscow
is and then bam! Smacked my hand on a big steel column and broke my
hand - ended up in the hospital at Moscow..."
However, the medical emergency hasn't soured Hammer's memories of
Moscow: "It is one of the most fun places... it's the best."
