Ariana Grande turned to Kabbalah after rejecting Catholicism
Singer/actress Ariana Grande turned to the ancient teachings of Kabbalah after rejecting Catholicism for the church's views on homosexuality.
The Problem hitmaker's brother, Frankie, is openly gay and the 21 year old became disparaged about the church's attitude towards her sibling's lifestyle.
She tells the Sunday Telegraph magazine, "When my brother was told
that God didn't love him I was like, 'OK, that's not cool.'
"They were building a Kabbalah center in Florida so we both checked
it out and really had a connection with it."
After turning to her new religion, Grande explains her life has led
her down a path she never expected.
She continues, "Since then, my life has unfolded in a really
beautiful way, and I think that it has a lot to do with the tools
I've learned through Kabbalah, I really do.
"You have to watch your intentions, make sure you're not giving in
to your ego. You have to numb your reactive state. You have the
power to change your reality."
Kabbalah, an offshoot of Judaism, is also practised by celebrities
like Madonna, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.
