Ariana Grande's mic cuts out during New York show
Pop star Ariana Grande was saved by the audience when her microphone cut out during a concert in New York on Sunday night (27Sep15).
The Problem hitmaker was performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn when the sound equipment suddenly failed, rendering her inaudible as she was singing her track Right There.
However, the crowd saved the performance by singing along to the
live band in Grande's place, enabling the pop star and her dancers
to continue their routine.
Grande shared videos of the mishap on Instagram.com and wrote,
"When the sound board shuts down during your show and everyone on
stage keeps going because your fans are absolutely everything and
sing the song for you at the top of their lungs. Such a magical
moment. I love y'all so much... Technical difficulties!!! Thank you
my babies for singing at the top of your lungs, you saved the
number... show must go on."
The problem was corrected for the remainder of the concert.
