Ariana Grande's joy over cosmetics deal
Ariana Grande is delighted to follow in the footsteps of her pop peers Miley Cyrus and Rihanna as the new Viva Glam spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics.
The singer's pals Miley and Rihanna have taken on the coveted position in the past for the beauty brand, and Ariana is overjoyed to be joining the ranks, as she is most committed to benefitting the world with her collection.
"#VIVAGLAM @maccosmetics I am beyond honored and excited to be
working with a brand that stands for and always has stood for
EQUALITY," she writes on Instagram.com. "My lipstick & gloss will
be available in January and EVERY PENNY goes to people effected
(sic) by HIV & AIDS. I have loved & supported @maccosmetics ever
since I was a little girl walking through the mall and saw your
first #VIVAGLAM girl in the window... I'm so honored!!!"
Ariana further emphasised in another post she is not taking any
proceeds whatsoever from her appearance in the campaign, writing,
"Did I mention everyyyyy. penny. goes to people affected by HIV &
AIDS. @maccosmetics ? #VIVAGLAM (sic)".
MAC bosses confirmed the news on their own Instagram page, with the
company revealing the new lipsticks and glosses will be available
for sale in January (16).
