Anna Friel heads to Africa to shoot gorillas documentary

Anna Friel is heading to Africa to shoot a documentary about the plight of mountain gorillas.

The Pushing Daisies star will join a film crew in Uganda next week (beg05Aug13) to highlight growing fears the remaining 700-strong band of primates is heading for extinction.

She tells Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper, "We are going to make a documentary about saving the remaining 700 mountain gorillas. I wouldn't say I am like (famed zoologist) Dian Fossey, but I suppose I am treading where she trod."
