Angelina Jolie: 'There is no secret wedding'

Written by . Published: August 31 2011

Angelina Jolie has dismissed reports suggesting she's secretly planning to wed her longtime boyfriend Brad Pitt.

The Hollywood supercouple has previously brushed off the idea of making their six-year romance official by exchanging vows, with Pitt famously declaring they would "consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able."

However, the actor admitted earlier this year (11) that they are feeling the pressure to wed from their six children, conceding, "It's something we've got to look at."

Pitt's admission prompted a constant stream of reports alleging the stars were set to marry at pal George Clooney's holiday home in Italy and in a chapel on the grounds of their retreat in France - but the summer ceremonies never took place and now Jolie has put a stop to the stories once and for all, insisting there is "no secret wedding".

In a new interview with Vanity Fair magazine, she also clears up false rumors about her home life.

She adds, "I'm not pregnant. I'm not adopting at the moment."

Jolie and Pitt are parents to adopted kids Maddox, Pax and Zahara, as well as biological daughter Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.
