The London house where Amy Winehouse died last year (11) has been sold for $3.1 million.

The Rehab hitmaker's family put the three-bedroom property in Camden Square up for sale in May (12) with a price tag of $4.2 million, but the home struggled to attract attention and the listing price was reduced to $2.8 million.

The house was then put up for auction and it went under the hammer for $3.1 million in London on Monday (03Dec12).

Speaking after the sale, the star's father, Mitch Winehouse, said, "We are sorry to see it go."

Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning at the property in July, 2011.
