Amanda Bynes to remain in psychiatric hospital for another month
Actress Amanda Bynes is to spend another month in hospital because she is still too ill to care for herself.
The Hairspray star has been receiving treatment at Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California since being placed on an involuntary hold on 10 October (14) following an intervention from medical experts and her parents' attorney.
She was initially ordered to undertake a 72-hour stay at the
hospital, but that was extended to two weeks so she could receive
further treatment.
Bynes' case was due for assessment on Monday (27Oct14) and medics
ruled she is still not fit for release so her treatment plan has
been extended by another 30 days.
The actress previously received psychiatric treatment last summer
(13) following weeks of bizarre behaviour.
