Alicia Vikander dismisses Michael Fassbender split rumours
Swedish actress Alicia Vikander has dismissed rumours suggesting she has split from boyfriend Michael Fassbender.
The pair struck up a romance late last year (14) after meeting on the set of their upcoming movie The Light Between Oceans, in which they play husband and wife, but reports emerged in September (15) suggesting they had parted ways.
Alicia has now addressed the gossip in an interview with Vogue and
insisted there is no truth to the split story, adding to the
publication, "I always believed there must be some truth to the
stuff you read... But I learned."
The actress agreed to go skydiving as part of the Vogue profile,
and admitted she was scared prior to the jump, saying, "I'm all
nerves. I think I never really believed we'd have to go through
with this."
After her skydive, Alicia added, "I have no recollection of that
free fall... Apparently adrenaline makes every six seconds feel
like a single second, so time collapses."
The actress also revealed that she had previously planned to go
skydiving with friends in New Zealand last year (14), and she was
thrilled when the jump was cancelled due to bad weather.
"I was so happy," she explained. "I thought, Great; let's go and
have a glass of wine instead."
