Adele concert marred by fan injury
Adele has promised a full investigation into an incident that left a fan injured at her concert in Glasgow, Scotland.
Overhead rigging fell on the gig-goer during the Hello singer's performance at The SSE Hydro on Friday night (25Mar16).
Details about exactly what happened and the identity of the fan are
still hazy but reports suggest a chain hit the person in the face,
leaving him or her bloodied.
The fan was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution, and Adele
wasted no time in commenting on the incident.
Shortly after she was told about what had happened after she left
the stage, the singer tweeted: "I'm so sorry to hear that someone
got hurt at my show tonight. It's being investigated to ensure it
won't happen again."
A spokesperson for the arena told the U.K.'s Daily Record, "A chain
belonging to the production came down and hit one person who was
taken to hospital as a precaution. We are liaising with the
production crew to ascertain what happened. This is all we know at
this stage."
The gig was the first of two Adele has booked at the
13,000-capacity venue.
